Briana found herself working in media and marketing after spending 7 years as a Registered Nurse in Corrections and Pediatrics. During her time as a stay-at-home mom, she purchased a DSLR camera to keep her mind active and taught herself how to use it.

Upon sharing landscape photos of Northern Michigan, her work was recognized by Pure Michigan, Canon, and even the Weather Channel. Seizing the opportunity, she started a business called Northern Way of Life Photography. Over the years, she sold prints and delved into commercial photography, shooting real estate, product, and website images. Through this work, she also took on roles in media management and content creation, which eventually led her to cross paths with Sarah.

After several years of working together, Briana and Sarah officially teamed up to form Good Taste Creative. Briana brings her analytical, left-brain tendencies to the GTC team. As a lifelong Michigander, she has spent the past 15 years living on the Leelanau Peninsula with her family. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, reading, and traveling.
